The Gun would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing you all during the winter months with our roaring fires, friendly service and special winter offers.

The nights have drawn in, the fires are burning, and the festive season is truly upon us at The Gun. So why not take a break during these merry making weeks and come out and celebrate with friends and family to relax and unwind in stylish surroundings without the pressure of hosting.

As the Gun is set in magnificent countryside we have created some beautiful walks allowing you to explore the local area and appreciate its history.
They will take you past Norman towers, mills and mill streams, churches and lakes and give you time to reflect upon how lucky we are living in such stunning and historic surroundings.
Four small walking guides are now available in each pub to help you enjoy the surrounding countryside. Why not try one and let us know how you did. Once the walk is complete do drop in for a well deserved pint and some appetizing dishes. You can also make a donation to the Woodland Trust at the bar if you wish.

With the beautiful weather on its way, the garden at The Gun is looking a picture of bloom. So enjoy a refreshing beer, sip of wine, or maybe a fresh summer salad in a magnificent setting with expansive views over unspoiled countryside....and there is also a wooden pirates climbing frame for the youngsters.

New Bar Space......We are opening a new Bar space at the Gun on Friday 11th April together with a new Menu. The new Bar area will offer a more cosy and comfortable atmosphere for you to enjoy your food and drinks.
